Rome Colosseum |
There are lots of places to see in Rome especially if you are interested in their culture and history. A lot of people would recommend to go to Colosseum, Fontana De Trevi, Piazza Navona, Spanish steps and the Vatican. All of these are easily accessible either by walking or taking the subway. I would recommend to
buy the tickets before hand to avoid waiting in line. It would also be nice to watch a soccer game (AS Roma) and experience how people are passionate about the game.
Tickets can be purchased before hand so you can get good seats.
And now, where to eat without having to pay too much for a good meal? There are lots of restaurants in Rome that are tourist traps so my recommendation would be this great restaurant in Trastevere called Da Vittorio and Pizzeria Ivo. Both have very reasonable prices and very good. It is in Trastevere where it is nice to hang out, relax and enjoy. I am posting a picture of the Zucchini Pizza from Pizzeria Ivo.
If you wanna try to go to an Italian supermarket, there is one near Roma Termini called Conad. There you can get cheese that you will love and the best prosciutto that you can get at a very low price.
